About this event
Stowmarket Christmas Fayre returns on Sunday 29 November 2026, bringing local and artisan stalls, hot food, family activities, live music and free rides to the town centre and partner locations including The Mix, Food Museum, the Library, John Peel Centre, The Church and The Regal.
Entry is free. The council has not yet published 2026 opening times; last year's fayre ran from 10am to 4pm.
Last year's fayre featured more than 80 traders, a Mixmas Market at The Mix, a festive marquee and free ice skating at the Food Museum, live music outside the John Peel Centre, three free fairground rides, children's crafts at the Library and John Peel Centre, Santa's Christmas Party at The Regal and a Christmas Tree Festival at St Peter & St Mary's Church. The 2026 programme may differ, so check the event page for the latest details.
The fayre is organised by Stowmarket Town Council and sponsored by Bucks, Squab Storage and Gipping Press.
