About this event
Stowmarket Carnival returns for a free, family-friendly weekend at Stowmarket Recreation Ground, with live music, entertainment, food, stalls, the carnival procession and a Classic Car Show.
Friday 17 July
The Recreation Ground opens at 6pm. Charlie Law’s Live Bandeoke starts at 7pm and continues until late, with a bar and food available.
Saturday 18 July
The Recreation Ground opens at noon. The procession leaves Meadlands roundabout at 12.30pm and arrives at the Recreation Ground from 1.45pm.
Live music includes Rude & Reckless and Fickle Pickles, plus other performers. Family entertainment includes Dan the Hat, Piano Bike Girl Chloe Aston, Punch & Judy and balloon modelling.
Stalls finish at 6.30pm. Music, the bar and food continue until 10pm.
Sunday 19 July
The Recreation Ground opens at 10am. Enjoy the Classic Car Show, bar, food and stalls.
Music includes Stowmarket Concert Band, Not A Chance and Samuel Taylor, plus other performers. Family entertainment includes Dan the Hat, Piano Bike Girl Chloe Aston, Punch & Judy and balloon modelling.
The weekend closes with a traditional church service at 3.30pm.
