About this activity

What happens each day

The Food Museum runs a changing programme of talks, tours and demonstrations during normal opening days. Pick up the day's programme from the museum shop when you arrive.

Typical sessions include:

  • 11am: Meet the Suffolk Punch horses
  • 2pm: A scheduled talk or tour, such as the Watermill Tour, Down at the Dairy or a charcoal-making talk
  • Later in the day: Animal feeding in the animal area

Some tours have limited capacity and must be booked at the museum shop on arrival. The programme can vary, so check the organiser's page before travelling.

Activities are included with museum admission.
