About this event
Indulge in a three-course meal woven together with the very best in live storytelling. This evening celebrates both the festival’s summer solstice theme and the rich Welsh heritage of our featured storyteller.
On the plate, we draw on solstice food traditions that honour the sun’s peak power and nature’s abundance — fresh, seasonal, and vibrant ingredients.
Our storyteller is ++Tim Ralphs,++ a storyteller based in Nottingham. He founded The Story Forge in Sheffield and hosts Beeston Tales. A commended entry at Young Storyteller of the Year in 2007, he won a British Award for Storytelling Excellence (with Simon Heywood) in 2012 for their Gilgamesh. His Rebranding Beelzebub was described in The Times as “a 5 star story”.
There is nothing quite like sitting down to hear a great story in the hands of someone who truly knows how to tell one. Michael Harvey is exactly that: a master of story.
The Storyteller’s Supper is an extra special event is in conjunction between the Food Museum and the three-day East Anglian Storytelling Festival.
This is a rare chance to experience this wonderful storyteller and enjoy a wonderful intimate night out at our Feast café.
