About this event
Festival Friday Celebration: 19 June, 12pm, Stowmarket Market Place. Mini Festival continues until end of day Friday, 26 June.
Jubilant! is a free one-week mini festival in Stowmarket celebrating the creativity of local children and young people, led by the Stowmarket Culture Group. Each year, local schools collaborate with professional artists to create original works responding to a theme — and this year, it’s Revolution.
From photography to theatre performances, expect bold and imaginative projects made by young people across ten schools. Their work will be exhibited in cultural venues around town including the John Peel Centre, Fox Yard Studio, the Food Museum, the Regal, and more.
This year we’re working with Amy Wyllie, Anna Lukala, Becca Gibbs, Dan Sedgwick, Danny Braverman, Frankie Rose, Jo Breeze from East Anglian Traditional Music Trust, Joanna Pink, Kate Horn and Sadie Windscheffel-Clarke.
